Role: Techno Functional Analyst

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

Interview: Telephonic/Skype

 

Mandatory Technical Skills:

ü  5+ years' experience of technical and functional analysis in a complex software project environment.

ü  3+ years' experience of working with Scrum development

ü  Certified Product Owner (CPO) or similar qualification in product ownership or analysis.

ü  Excellent written and presentation skills - able to communicate effectively with engineers and business stakeholders.

 

Role Description:

ü  This role is for an experienced Technical Analyst / Product Owner with excellent understanding of high-volume customer facing electronic commerce and web application development and extensive experience mapping business requirements to technical specifications, developing Functional Specifications and writing User Stories consistent with Agile Scrum standards.

ü  To be successful, they will need to have outstanding communication skills, quickly to able take complex requirements from a range of stakeholders and distill them into a prioritized list of deliverable stories, producing excellent documentation and having the confidence to challenge assumptions and direction from business stakeholders when their needs are not technically achievable.

ü  In this role, they will be working closely with a Product Manager from the business team, and a Tech Lead and one or more ScrumMasters from Engineering to develop and manage product backlogs that will be used by Scrum Teams to build high-quality technical products that delight our customers and stakeholders.

ü  The ideal candidate will also be a natural problem-solver who always looks for ways to deliver the highest possible quality outcomes whilst taking into account the importance of speed (time to market), cost-effectiveness (profitability) and user experience (quality).
