Network Engineer

Role: Network Engineer

Location: Seattle WA

Duration: 6 to 12 Months

Mode of hire: Contract

 

Required Skills:

The customer now is looking for a strong Juniper and Cisco support person. Most of the work will be in Juniper environment

CCNP Level

Assist with troubleshooting/installation issues and work with Client Engineer where applicable

Receive Equipment Deliveries & Install in rack where directed

Decommission equipment (remove from rack, and remove all associated interconnects (power, network, FC) when requested

Run and connect cables as requested (Power, Network, Fiber, SAN)

Receive a work request to replace a troubleshoot a failed component (e.g. hard drive, power supply, fan module)

• Verify the fault (if it's a power supply, ensure power is being supplied to the device, no loose cables, etc.)

• If fault is valid, open a ticket with whichever vendor we have to request replacement parts and own the logistics for delivery and replacement
