Description

·         Looking for a PL/SQL Developer who comes from a financial or accounting background.

·         This position is in San Diego, CA

·         Candidates must be able to interview in person. Please send me as many candidates as possible that meet the criteria.

Must Haves:

•        3+ years of PL/SQL Coding experience

•        Strong Financial Domain experience or accounting background

•        Experience with Oracle partitioned tables and queries

•        Understanding of Triggers, Packages, Functions, Procedures, Object Types and complex SQL

•        SQL tuning experience

•        Familiarity with logical data modeling

•        Experience in Oracle versions 10 and/or 11

•        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•        Enthusiasm and energy

 

Preferred Plus Items:

•        Oracle APEX 4.0 experience – Manager quote: "A candidate with APEX 4.0 experience and experience working with applications that are used for billing and invoices is a slam dunk"

•        Experience in an Agile environment

•        Ability working in high-performance and very large database environments is a plus.

•        High-Transaction environment experience

 

What you'll be doing:

•        Developing and maintaining new enhancements

•        Maintaining and troubleshooting existing applications

•        Develop and maintain solutions for new requests

•        Develop and maintain batch processing and reporting

•        Working with the Java development team to verify their use of the database
