Your Role and Responsibilities:
Client is expanding its industry-leading commitment to provide the best entertainment experience possible. Client launched additional and enhanced Content Delivery Network (CDN) based services to increase the company's local, national, and specialized broadcast coverage.
You will be leading, providing systems engineering to various development teams to ensure the successful implementation of SDN based projects.
You are a passionate senior systems engineer who has a penchant for solving complex and interesting problems. You love to:
1. Specify high level system flow
2. Specify components interaction and interface
3. Support the QA team for features and performance tests
4. Understand & interface with server, cloud, SDN infrastructure teams and to be able to frame technical & functional specifications.
5. Research and stay on top of industrial development of SDN, cloud, server technologies and trends
Your Qualifications:
1. 8+ years of experience in large scale systems engineering
2. Knowledge of SDN, cloud & network infrastructure
3. Knowledge of architecture principles & OpenFlow stack architecture
4. Knowledge of network and systems protocols and architecture
5. BS, MS in Computer Science or related disciplines (or equivalent)
6. Good at communication and writing
Preferred Skills / Experience include:
1. Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures and algorithms.
2. Strong experience with multi-threaded and highly scalable server-side development
3. Background in computer programming
4. Familiar with NFV technologies
5. Solid understanding of security related implications of SDN technologies.
