UX Analyst
Required:
- Experience in UX Design, lab-based / formal usability testing, remote usability testing, informal usability testing, HE's, Competitor Assessments, wireframes and prototype development using Axure (or similar tool).
- Experience with other methods of user experience research and testing including; persona development, focus groups, usability testing, facilitator guide/script preparation, heuristic evaluations, card sorting
- Excellent skills required in critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions (e.g., partnering, conflict management, resolving priorities between stakeholders, consulting, etc.).
- Maintains usability standards and methodology as it relates to assigned Web/Digital Environments for the corporate enterprise. Help weave user centered best practices into the product development process.
- Conducts ongoing usability testing and assessments to provide recommendations for enhancements or modifications to the customer experience.
- Mentor/guide UX designs - including input, review and signoff of user process flows, lead whiteboarding sessions, develop wireframes, mock ups, etc. - for Internet, intranet and internal applications and tools as needed.
- Two or more years of experience in a senior user experience role.
- Seven or more years of experience in visual design, interface design, information architecture or interaction design for Web, Digital or software applications. Should include experience in creation of deliverables such as page flows, wireframes, UI specifications, Web page/Digital mockups or software interface elements for complex Web or software applications.
- Self-starter that can work with diverse stakeholders and with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project and PowerPoint skills appropriate for User Experience documentation
Desired:
- Working knowledge of front-end coding skills including HTML, CSS
- Healthcare/Insurance Industry Experience
- Mobile and responsive design experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in MIS, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Human Computer Interaction, Graphic Design.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Will work on specific projects which could include My Health Plan, MedMutual.com, email Marketing and Mobile Application development initiatives.
- Will communicate with current team on requirements, status and issues.
- Involved in Meeting facilitation, wire framing, prototyping, usability testing, authoring facilitator guides/scripts for usability testing or focus group sessions, user testing, working closely with development team to ensure quality/accuracy of final product.
- Analyze varying solutions and provide strategic recommendations with an eye on functionality, cost, technology and value as appropriate.
Project Detail:
- Current technology is: .NET 3+, C#, SQL 2008, Visual Studio 2010 Team System, Harvest, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, SSIS, web services, Sitecore, Kony, MS Office, Visio, MS Project, Axure, Photoshop
- Projects will use Medical Mutual Project Methodology, standards and document templates.
