Role: Access Developer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 3-4 Mts
Rate: $45-$50 Hr C2C
Keys to the Position:
- 8-9 years of Access Development experience with a strong understanding of the architecture and system design
- Ability to review and reengineer an application which will include meeting with users to clearly define the scope of work.
- 80% of the time will be doing development and 20% of the time will be documentation, training and meetings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Description:
- At a basic level, we are building two small applications for Finance users (Comp Reporting and Payroll) using MS Access. Each "Application " is about 75% complete and we are looking for approx. 6 weeks of someone's time to help us finish them. We have built the existing databases and will be leading this effort. That being said, we need someone that can work independently.
- Access to confidential payroll and compensation data for the entire firm
- MS Access development expertise
- Queries
- Reports
- Database Design
- Data/Interface acquisition
- User Interface
- Ability to design/build with non-technical users in mind
- Effective communication skills are required
- Effective documentation skills are desired
Knowledge of payroll and/or compensation systems/data is desired
