Microsoft SSAS/SSIS Developer

Location: Mclean, VA (Locals)

Duration: 3 -6 Months

 

The contractor must be able to demonstrate at least five years of experience designing and developing data warehouses using Microsoft SQL Server.  The contractor must have the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with business users to develop data warehouse requirements. The contractor will use the business user requirements to develop easy-to-maintain routines to transfer data from the SQL server databases to the data warehouses. The contractor must have demonstrated outstanding oral communication skills. The contractor must be able to understand business user needs and translate them into requirements/solutions.

 

The contractor should be an expert in the following:

·         Creating data warehouses and cubes (SSAS and SSIS) using SQL Server 2008 R2 or later

·         Performing data integration for data warehouse and cube applications

·         Creating star and snowflake data models

·         Implementing data models

·         Building high-performance and scalable data warehouse and OLAP data models
