Job Description:

 

Client provides cloud-enabled managed hosting and infrastructure.

They want to create a new, simplified "console" where one of their customers can log in, see their current tree of virtual servers/datacenters, get basic virtual and physical info(including current alarms), start or stop a VM, create a new VM and install vmtools – very similar to basic use cases in VCenter.

The project would involve Java on the back end, using the VMware APIs back to the 4.0 SDK (currently on 5.5), and JavaScript for the UI portions.
