Sys admin position at  (location Boston, MA).

 

Job Description:

 

Someone that can:

•             Architect and design solutions to create a virtualized lab with automated scheduler, setup and tear down workflows

•             Create easy front ends for on-demand lab resources, including time based access and ability to specify network and release configurations. It is your responsibility to ensure that the lab is kept in a top notch state (design, uptime etc) and you must ensure consistency (IP assignments, VLAN, VM distribution) of lab resources.

•             Partners with engineering, product development and technical support to ensure that the lab meets teams requirements.

 

Skills:

 

•             Solid background in Linux administration

•             Solid working experience with 802.11a/b/g/i standards and knowledge of 802.11n.

•             Layer 2 and Layer 3 experience required.

•             Expert level scripting experience ( PERL, Shell, Python, etc)

•             Ability to use protocol analyzers tools such as OmniPeek and Wireshark

•             Understanding of traffic simulation tools and techniques.

•             Solid understanding of TCP/IP, IGMP, and Routing (Layer 2 & 3 communication)

•             The following Certifications would be a plus: CWNA, CWSP, CWNE, CCNA, CCIE

•             Excellent verbal and written skills with the proven ability to successfully deliver and communicate complex technical training.

Good to Have- Experience in CDN or content delivery network
