Job Description:

 

Position 1

Cognos Lead

 

1.       Understands Pharma or Medical devices domain: should have experience of at least 3-4 years interacting with the business in these domains

2.       Excellent communication- ability to independently interact with Business to gather requirements

3.       Excellent documentation skills, should be able to write clear BRDs, FRDs and Technical Design documents

4.       Excellent hands on experience on Cognos with at least 8-10 years of experience in cognos development

5.       Should be able to write test scripts and validate the technical deliverables from the development team in UAT

6.       Should be familiar with HPQC

7.       Should have governance, project management experience in managing complex BI programs

8.       Can understand logic of manipulations of data flow

9.       Understand ETL Logic

10.   BI & Data Warehouse analysis

11.   Oracle & Access database knowledge

12.   Need expert knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL

13.   SAP ERP systems/ Can understand the Data from SAP to Oracle and write & architect data flows

14.   Knowledge of J&J SDLC process is a plus

 

 

Position 2

Senior Cognos Developer

 

1.       Understands Pharma or Medical devices domain: should have experience of at least 5 years interacting with the business in these domains

2.       Excellent communication- ability to independently interact with Business to gather requirements

3.       Excellent documentation skills, should be able to write clear BRDs, FRDs and Technical Design documents

4.       Excellent hands on experience on Cognos with at least 4-5 years of experience in cognos development

5.       Should be able to write test scripts and validate the technical deliverables from the development team in UAT

6.       Should be familiar with HPQC

7.       Should have governance, project management experience in managing complex BI programs

8.       Can understand logic of manipulations of data flow

9.       Understand ETL Logic

10.   Knowledge of J&J SDLC process is a plus
