Position: Java UI Web Developer

Location: Cupertino/Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 3-6 months

 

Need Work Authorization Copy

 

JD:

Experience 8+ years (relevant years of experience)

Strong programming expertise in Java, J2EE ( EJBs, servlets, JSP, struts )and XML technologies.

Candidate has to be an end to end web developer.

Expertise in UI screen design and wire frames, JSP/Servlets, Javascript, HTML, CSS, AJAX

Experience with XSL, XPath. Experience with Apache Velocity a plus.

Hands on experience in publishing and consuming Web Services via SOA methodologies would be a plus.

Experience with Oracle relational databases is a must, this would include designing schemes, writing DML queries and query performance analysis.

Should have a strong UNIX background. Also needs to be comfortable writing Unix scripts. Perl will be a plus.

Should be able to performance tune applications and assist team members by reviewing code and provide suggestions to developers.

Exposure to Unix and Mac OS X is desired.
