Job Description
Be part of Salesforce Platform Support Team, which is responsible for design and maintenance of SFDC platform. This is a fast paced team that handles tasks/issues on Salesforce. The successful team member will be a quick learner who has the capacity to work with little hand holding, takes responsibility for the work delivered. There will be lots of interactions with business users to understand their issues and provide solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and Maintain Salesforce solutions, provide technical design documentation when required.
Effectively communicate with business to understand their issues and provide solutions.
Provide advice to other engineers in solution design, code development and maintenance
Participate in requirements discussions and solution presentation to various levels of management.
REQUIREMENTS
Expertise in Salesforce.com architecture, design and development
4+ years' hands-on experience with the Salesforce.com CRM solution
4+ years' hands-on development experience with Apex, Java or C#
Strong knowledge and skills in: Apex, JavaScript, SOQL
Good knowledge of Web Services (SOAP or REST) is desirable.
Demonstrated experience in Force.com developer toolkit - Apex, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Web Services/SOA & Metadata APIs
Salesforce.com Dev Certification will be a plus
Experience with structured software development methodologies/processes, change management, release management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be proactive and work under limited supervision
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience
Capacity for analytical thinking and rapid, creative problem solving in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized, strong attention to detail
