Position: Merchandising Assistant, Home Décor

Location: San Bruno, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Job Description

         Supports the item level efforts of all merchandise categories reporting to the Category  Manager

         Work with Buyers and Item Set up Team to set up new items and maintain item changes such as: Wal-Mart numbers, item dimensions, rebates, add distributors, remove distributors, retail price changes, cost price changes.

         Works closely with the copywriters and supplier to manage content acquisition.

         Works closely with the Item Set up Team and supplier to manage the procurement and coordination of digital images and/or samples for the site.

         Work with Web Collage, CNET, and easy2.com on product demos and page outlook enhancement.

         Oversees the quality assurance process as it relates to the item's preparation to go live on the site.

Minimum Requirements

        1-2 years experience in a merchant assistant, customer service, project coordinator, or administrator preferred.

 

Position: Category Marketing Contactor

Location: San Bruno, CA

Duration:  3 months

 

Job Description

         The Marketing Contractor's primary responsibility will be maximizing sales, traffic, and profitability for Walmart.com's photo business. The Contractor will help manage multi-channel marketing planning and execution by supporting the General Merchandise Marketing team.  The Contractor will also be responsible for supporting other GM categories as needed. The position is based in San Bruno, California.

         Marketing Planning & Execution (60%) Develop and execute multi-channel photo marketing programs as well as seasonal pushes throughout the summer. Help develop and execute multi-channel marketing calendar for appropriate photo department. Mine available data and reporting to guide marketing decision making and programming. Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure one voice to the customer. Assist in response to urgent marketing support requests from buyer team as needed

         Marketing Strategy Development (30%) Represent the voice of the customer in marketing program development. Identify and develop Walmart.com/Wal-Mart Stores marketing partnership opportunities.

         Internal and External Partnership (20%) Collaborate with Walmart.com and Wal-Mart Stores marketing teams, buyers, and site merchandising teams to accomplish goals. Partner with internal marketing team to sell-in supplier support and program execution of co-branded marketing programs. Work with creative and marketing channel teams to ensure on-time, high quality execution of marketing deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications

         Bachelor s degree in Business, Communications, or related field and 1 year experience in marketing or related field

·               First year MBA students preferred

        Additional Preferred Qualifications

         1 year experience in online marketing.

         1 years experience managing vendor contracts and relationships.

         2 years experience in direct or indirect retail marketing, including product marketing and brand management.

 

Position: Associate Product Manager

Location: San Bruno, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Associate Product Manager

About the role:

         The Wal-Mart Global ecommerce (GEC) division designs, develops and supports the technology behind Wal-Mart's global ecommerce.

         This position, the Associate Product Manager role, works with the Wal-Mart ecommerce business leads and is responsible for driving the translation of their business processes into descriptive documents that outline what each business area does.  This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about end to end ecommerce!

Tasks:

         Leading the business area discovery process, identifying the business areas as they exist today and uncovering new areas that have not been mapped out yet.

         Collaborating with the business during discovery to describe and document the roles, processes, systems, tools, documents, and training materials that are used to do the daily work accomplished by that particular business area.

         Prioritizing of business areas, mapping the highest impact ones first, and maintaining the timeline for documenting the remaining business areas.

         Helping organize documentation using templates and structured content, while maintaining relationships with various business stakeholders.

         Working closely with business leads to achieve "hand-off" of these described areas, delivered as a finished Confluence site to the business leads for them to own future updates and modifications.

         What you'll need:

         A proven track record in a similar role

         Demonstrated success documenting business processes and collaborating cross-functionally to gather the needed data

         A proven track record in writing logical, detailed and complete business process documentation or product requirements

         Ability to develop detailed process flows and communicate them clearly

         An understanding of technology and how it enables business goals

         Relevant professional experience within technology product/program management, project management involving business process mapping/reengineering, or management consulting

         Online retail and/or marketing/strategy experience preferred

         Good time management skills and can prioritize tasks effectively

         Strong business acumen and quantitative and analytical problem solving skills

         Excellent communication skills enabling strong cross functional relationships, internally and externally

         Experience with Confluence and Visio is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

         2+ years of Product Management experience and Bachelors Degree

 

Position: Analyst Mobile Analytics, Site Analytics & BI

Location: San Bruno, CA

Duration: 1 Year

 

         Analytics & BI supporting mobile platforms and mobile devices on all platforms.   

         Position will be primary point of contact for Mobile Team for Site Analytics BI Team.     Role will have significant exposure to leadership.

         4 year degree with emphasis in statistics or mathematics.

         Minimum Qualifications

         2 years minimum experience in site analytics, with a specific focus on mobile devices and platforms.

         Retail ecommerce experience preferred.

         Excellent Omniture Site Catalyst & Discover skills.

         Advanced SQL skills.

         Fortune 500 company experience preferred.

  • Highly knowledgeable in data concepts and technologies
  • Strong Database and SQL language skills 
  • Experience with one or more ETL tools : Informatica or SSIS or Abinitio
  • Strong scripting skills  using Perl or Python.
  • Experience using big data technologies
  • Practical understanding of the Data modeling concepts
  • Ability to read and interpret data schemas
  • Proven ability to create and maintain online and printed documentation
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally to deliver appropriate resolution of technical, procedural and operational issues
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in process improvement, normalization/de-normalization, data extraction, data cleansing, data manipulation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Client Requirement:

·         5-6 years data and data warehousing

·         1-2 years of big data

·         Strong data technology (I'm sure I didn't capture that right)

·         Some Hadoop, big data

·         No need to be strong in Java

·         Informatica, SSI – those types of skill sets.

 

Position : Kronos Developer

Location : Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 6 months

  • Implementing, converting, upgrading and  maintaining Kronos modules including writing pay rules for various business requirements.
  • Strong knowledge in manipulating and using relational databases such as Oracle. 
  • KRONOS Time and Attendance Administrator, i.e. the ability to apply patches, fix software, review release notes and understand the impact of any application changes.
  • Work with customer/client and translate functional business requirements into technical specifications and designs to create pay rules, interfaces, reports, etc. using standard SDLC process.
  • Write  programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of the KRONOS application
