Job Title: Sr Lync Engineer/Architect  

Location: Cambridge, MA

Duration: 14 months

Note: Travel will be onsite for the first 2-3 weeks and then one week a month, every other month.

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Lync consultant that has a background deploying Lync Enterprise Voice to provide support services for a project currently in-flight. 

 

• Identify solution system interfaces, constraints, scope, cost, risks and value - writing and providing documentation to account management and customers regarding these items
• Document business, information, application and technology aspects of each approach
• Provide technical guidance to internal account/customer management
• Develop business and market solutions and strategies, documenting and communicating these with account management

Requirements: 

-        3 years of supporting a complex Lync environment (2010 or better) with IM, conferencing and voice deployed

-        Experience as a technical Lead

-        Experience with Lync 2013

-        Sonus SBC experience

-        Strong knowledge and experience in supporting technologies (AD, networking, etc.)

-        Telecommunications experience

-        Familiarity with Exchange Unified Messaging

-        PRI SIP trunking experience

-        Proof of passing Lync exams

-        Lync Client troubleshooting experience

-        SIP Phone experience

-        3-5 years of Windows experience

-        Troubleshooting Complex mix signal and media environment

-        Working cross-functionally (networking team, etc)

Nice to have

-        Tenor analog gateway experience

-        911enable experience

-        Cisco call manager a plus or similar call management systems

-        Powershell experience

-        Experience with Polycomm phones (VVX)

-        Integration with Polycomm video infrastructure preferred
