Position Title: Principal Software Developer

Department: Production Enhancement

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 6 Moths

Rate: $42 - $46/hr on C2C

 

Locals are highly Preferred!!!

 

Position Overview

Push the limits of technology as a Principal Software Developer for automated testing. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the automated testing strategy for Halliburton's Production Enhancement applications. You will utilize your software programming skills to implement automated tests for unit, component, user interface, performance, and regression tests. You will also help to deliver the test results in a timely manner and advise on product improvements. If you enjoy writing great code that is used to ensure software quality then this is the job for you. Prepare to advance like never before.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

 

Technical skills needed:

•        8-10 years of software development experience

•        5+ years' experience C# programming applications and/or automation

•        Solid understanding of the software development process

•        Experience in Unit testing

•        Understanding of Software UI Automation concepts and tools

•        Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, or similar discipline

 

Non-technical skills needed:

•        Can manage their own work

•        Able to lead team

•        Self-Motivated

•        Works well within a team environment

•        Work with a Global Team in a distributed model

 

Preferred Skills/Abilities

•        Graduate degree in Computer Science or similar discipline

•        Familiarity with Visual Studio/TFS, Microsoft Test Manager, Quality Center, MS Coded UI testing framework

•        Experience installing, configuring, virtualizing, and imaging Operating Systems, Databases (SQL Server), Web Servers, Applications, Files and supporting technologies necessary to setup the automated testing environment to

•        Experience working on a Windows platform in a multi-tier environment
