Client is looking for a consultant with long term projects on their resume. Someone with 3+ years on their most recent project would be ideal. Must have excellent comm skills and 10+ years of experience.
AARP Services Inc(ASI), the nonprofit arm of the association, is requesting a Sr SharePoint Administrator/Developer to partner with the existing Ciber SharePoint Project Manager/SME in an effort to best deliever SharePoint services thru the enablement and configuration of existing SharePoint infrastructure and ECM tools. This undertaking also includes a migration of legacy SharePoint sites to a new 2010 site collection and deployment of a new portal site for the AARP Services, Inc. (ASI) client.
Reports to: ITS/Enterprise Content Management Department and actively coordinates with ASI Business Integration/PMO Director
Client Environment:
Project is phased as initially as a 6-month project with the opportunity for extension into 2015
Work is based out of the client HQ in Washington, DC initially with some occasional delivery from Rockville, MD
Remote delivery over time is a possibility
Candidates will have to be technically screened
Job Description
The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical support of the AARP Services Incorporated (ASI) Contract Management system (CM.app, developed by Corridor Company) and migration of this system from its current SharePoint 2010 collection to a new 2010 SharePoint Collection, as well support the environment preparation, management and migration of 10 Team Sites and related sub-sites and integration of new site master pages and other third-party solutions.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborates with the AARP ITS Project Team (Client Engagement Manager, Project Manager, Business Analyst, Architects), business sponsors, and product vendors to develop and deliver solutions
Collaborates closely with AARP IT to
prepare new site collection logical and physical environments for successful integration of new custom portal designed by vendor partner
execute site migration from legacy collection to new collection (both 2010)
execute migration of a Contract Management System
Insure quality of code/integration of third-party add-ons
Develop upgrade/migration/application roadmaps
Prepare system performance metrics
Identify opportunities/options to create efficiencies
Evaluate implementation options for existing Enterprise Content Management and document retention tools
Skills:
Experienced SharePoint site administrator or developer
SharePoint 2010, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2012, SSRS, Visual Studio 2010 tools and Team Foundation Server 2010 (TFS)
High level of diverse technical experience related to studying and analyzing system needs, systems development, systems process analysis, design, and re-engineering
Strong communication skills
Ability and willingness to provide end-user training
Highly preferred, but not required:
Experience working with contract management applications
Familiarity with MetaVis; Fast Search, Records Center, Metadata Services, site template creation and provisioning, content drop zone and content loader, metadata inheritance rules, records management, Enterprise Content Type Hub, Term Store, Cloud (preferably Office 365); Experience integrating ECM tools such as GimmalSoft; BA-Insight (Document Preview, FAST integration, Auto-classifier) and Living Analytics (LibraryCard for box.net integration) in a SharePoint 2010 environment
MicroSoft Certification: MCITP SharePoint Administrator 2010 or MC Solutions Expert, or MC Software Developer or MC Professional Developer
