Position:Java Developer with JBoss, MySQL and Crystal Reports
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6 Months
The Java Developer will need to have experience in Java, JBoss, MySQL and Crystal Reports (or a similar reporting tool). Please contact me if you know of anyone who would be interested in this opportunity!
Hadoop Admin not Developer. Candidate MUST have AWS experience
Location: Boston MA
Duration: 6 months
∙ Bachelor's Degree
∙ Experience as a Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer with a service operational background supporting high availability 24x7x365 environments (in relevant software or internet service industry is preferred).
∙ Strong working experience with Linux (CentOS and Red Hat),
∙ Scripting Skills (scripting skills via Puppet , Ruby, OR Python).
∙ Experience working with App-Server & Open Source Components. Tomcat, Memcached, Hadoop, Elastic Search, or Voldemort (at least two of these components)
∙ Understanding of Database , RDBMS concepts and technologies (MySql is preferred)
∙ Working experience in Use of Subversion/Git or equivalent software repositories in Linux centric development environment
∙ Conceptual knowledge of server virtualization technology (Hypervisor, OpenVZ)
∙ Conceptual knowledge of Network storage (NFS, DAS, NAS, SAN & Virtualized) and Luster (file system)
∙ Use of monitoring Tools like Nagios/Ganglia/Cloudwatch preferred.
∙ Understanding of Data Security (PCI-DSS), Network Security, PKI Encryption, Network topology, DNS & load balanced environments (managed switch, firewalls , Load balancer - F5)
∙ Protocols: HTTP, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP, SOAP, REST (two or more)
∙ Ability to succeed in a highly matrixed, virtual and international culture where change and speed are part of daily work.
∙ Strong analytical and strategic skills with clear understanding of the lifecycle of software based services.
∙ Excellent communication skills
Preferred or Nice to Have's
∙ Experience with AWS , Working knowledge of AWS SDK (software dev. Kit) for Java/Ruby
∙ (Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred)
