6 SSRS Reporting Analyst 

Contract - 6 month+

Jacksonville, Florida

 

*Focus on SSRS experience

*We have a Voice Advantage for this role (would be great to have that completed)

-Need to be able to write Stored Procedures for SSRS Reporting

 

I. Primary Purpose

The responsibility of the Report Analyst is to provide data analysis supporting report deliverables.

II. Key Responsibilities

· Capture requirements and translate them into design documents that lead to the delivery of reports and dashboards.

· Extend the delivery to include how users will plug reports and dashboards into publication solutions (e.g. SharePoint).

· Deliver a centralized location for storing reports which is easily assessable by individuals within the organization.

· Document procedural and instructional collateral for the organization to support the utilization of reports and dashboards.

· Assist in the development of a security model to support sharing of the data warehouse and cube.

· Assist in the architecture and delivery of a Business Intelligence roadmap.

· Create and analyze data to provide recommendation and best practices to achieve higher data integrity.

· Provide training and support to the organization on published reports and dashboards.

· Ability to translate requirement concepts between business and technical personnel

IV. Education & Experience Requirements

• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills - clear and concise writing and oral skills are crucial to the ability to obtain and disseminate information
• Ability to work independently and multi-task / managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Self motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving
• Proven experience facilitating a Business Requirements session
• Three years experience developing and implementing Microsoft BI stack [SSRS, SSIS, SSAS] products including Report Builder, Performance Point, and SharePoint delivery methods required
• Two years experience with SQL Server 2008 & 2012 and .Net required
• Experienced in SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, ETL, SharePoint preferred
• Experience with Relational Databases – SQL Server preferred
• Ability to write SQL stored procedures and dimensional modeling skills preferred
