Location: Bloomfield, Connecticut, United States

Description:

Ø  Provide capacity and expertise to support minor enhancements and small projects

Ø  Manage the Service Request (SR) intake, triage, and prioritization with client oversight

Ø  Solid analytical skill with interest in learning business processes in a multi-platform system

Ø  Adept in SAS Base and Macro programming with DB2 database

Ø  Proficient in data warehousing and data analysis

Ø  Familiar with Unix scripting

Ø  Good problem solving skill applied to debugging process flows and program error logs

Ø  Able to work with business clients to understand and analyse business requirements

Ø  Experience with on-call support in a production environment

Ø  Good communication skills

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

Ø  3+ years of solid application development experience

Ø  3+ years experience designing and developing highly efficient SAS code for use in automated data processing systems on UNIX based platforms. 

Ø  3+ years' experience with Unix shell scripting

Ø  3+ years experience with SQL in a relational database environment

Ø  Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ø  Must have ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines and be comfortable manipulating and summarizing large quantities of data

Ø  Knowledge of version control tools and processes (Subversion, CVS, and Clear Case etc.)

Ø  Adept in SAS Base and Macro programming with DB2 database
