Sr Java Developer with AWS Experience

Skills:
AWS, Java, web services, and Cloud
o Spring technologies /Java
o Web technologies, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Bootstrap / Angular a plus (optional)
o Web Services, including Restful APIs
o JPA/Hibernate or ORM mapping technologies (optional)
o Oracle (PL/SQL)
o Tomcat server
o Overall system architecture design (especially scalable/high throughput system) and methodologies
Keys to the Position:
• 1. The candidate must have AWS experience in a couple of different projects. We are looking for practical knowledge as opposed to theoretical experience.
• 2. Within AWS, the manager is looking for this person to have experience with S3, SQS and RDS.
• 3. Must have experience working with Java (75% Server side development vs 25% UI)
In sum, we are looking for a strong Java developer that has experience with AWS to help evaluate the technology as well as to build a POC to put the pieces together.
