Job Title: SAP QA Tester
Location: Birmingham, AL
Duration: 8+ month contract possible extensions
Required Skills:-
• Should have at least 6-9 years of Testing / Test Coordination Experience
• Excellent Soft Skills Required – A Good Attitude - (e.g., excellent - oral, written, ability to work in team, and direct others work products, and describe testing procedures)
• Should have sound experience in using the Test Management Tool HP Quality Center
• SAP Test Coordinator works closely with:
o German Program Management (Client and 3rd party vendor)
o Local business (coordinate e.g. User Acceptance Testing, involvement of Key User, etc)
o Local project team (e.g. Functional testing, Planning, tracking execution)
o Local PMO
o Local IT (Test system readiness, etc); coordination with legacy application owner; e.g. coordination of integrated testing, test starts in legacy system and continue in SAP system
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and experience, SAP ASAP Methodology, SDLC and SAP testing methodologies and Solution Manager
• Prefer candidate has functional knowledge in one or more of these SAP areas: FI and CO (Cost Center, Internal Order, Profitability Analysis, Product Costing, Project System Profit Center Accounting), MM, SD
• Broad knowledge and experience of integration between applications and external systems (SAP AIF, Middleware PI, but that will not be a must)
• Solid technical background in testing methodologies
• Demonstrated competency in most testing types (i.e. Unit Testing, Quality Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, End to End Testing)
• Must have the ability to work with all technical and functional areas and communicate requirements
• Point of contact for all testing deliverables and provides clarifications to testing requirements.
• Works with client to ensure test planning and resources are in place to provide quality testing.
• Strong communication skills - experience producing defect reports
• Should have excellent communication skills.
** Experience with HP Quality Center is a must.
