JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ø Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) acts as liaison between IT and business functions, to help build solutions that help the company operate more effectively and efficiently. Ø Solution focus areas include supporting features for company portals including understanding the Order to Cash process using Oracle EBS. Ø Business Analyst will be responsible for managing demands as per prioritization defined across global business functions. Ø He/she will drive approved projects through the standard IT SDLC and will work closely with global IT counterparts. Ø Candidate will primarily be working on Portals enhancements but can include EBS enhancements depending on demand prioritization and feature request, with integration with EBS and SFDC.
Ø Internal client liaison, managing project and enhancement requests as per priority Ø Understanding of Order to Cash, Service Contract, Install Base. Ø Experience custom Portal functional design, writing system requirements for portals. Ø Exposure to integrations with data exchange between different systems. Ø Background in Electronic Data Integration (EDI) is desirable Ø Knowledge on Customer Entitlement and License Management is a good to have.. Ø Document functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases Ø Facilitate requirements gathering and process mapping workshops Ø Lead Collaboration Projects through the company IT Standard Development Lifecycle Ø Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives Ø Perform gap analysis: as is vs. to be Ø Participate in end to end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication and change management Ø Writing and reviewing QA and UAT test scripts Ø Managing UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff Ø Preparation of user documentation and training documentation as necessary Ø Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements Ø Comfortable working with Business teams and IT teams to help drive acceptable solutions and mitigates. Ø Independent self motivated, ability to learn on the job.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ø Minimum 10 years Business Analysis experience Ø Self Starter and Go Getter attitude Ø 7 – 10 yrs experience custom web Portal functional design, writing system requirements for portals with some experience in Backend systems (EBS preferred) Ø Minimum 2 - 3 years experience as Business Analyst working with Oracle (OM, SC, IB, INV and TCA modules – OM and/or SC preferred) Ø Minimum 5 years experience preparing as-is process documentation, to-be process documentation, and performing detailed gap analysis Ø Well versed with AIM/SDLC/Agile Methodologies Ø Familiarity of some key tables for OM, SC, IB, INV, and TCA modules would be a plus. Ø Comfortable with non-complex SQL queries Ø Must have experience preparing end-user documentation and conducting end-user training Ø Business Analysis experience in a high-tech (preferable software) company highly desirable. Ø Project Management experience a strong plus or should be able to co-ordinate/driven to closure open items in areas candidate ends up working on (similar to a functional lead)

Ø 4-year degree (minimum) in Information Systems or related discipline |
