Description
Senior Business Analyst
Job responsibilities include:
· Will support the data Acquisition projects from Investment Banking product platforms as part of Liquidity Risk Infrastructure initiative.
· Analyzing business requirements for Liquidity Risk Infrastructure and defining functional requirements for data sourcing
· Performing gap analysis of business requirements and the information available in the source systems
· Identifying and defining solutions / workarounds for identified gaps
· Defining specifications, and business rules for data interfaces with source systems
· Co-ordinate with testing team for formulating test plans, test cases and defect remediation
· Co-ordinate with Project Manager, businesses and Application Engineering team to develop and deliver plans.
· Assist Manager in project planning, and task assignment with clear roles, milestones, budgets and measures of success.
· Conduct project meetings (virtual and in-person), communicating with project team members in business and technology organizations.
· Partner with the businesses and Application Engineering team and other Business Delivery teams
REQUIRED:
· Minimum of 10+ years of combined business analysis, team leadership and IT experience in the Financial Services domain.
· Strong Experience in Investment Banking products including Securities processing (Equities / Fixed Income), Securities Financing, Derivatives, including SME knowledge of product lifecycle and data models,
· Ability to write detailed Business Requirements and functional specifications.
· Good experience of SQL / querying relational database
· Knowledge of Financial instruments and associated processing.
· Ability to facilitate resolution and communication of cross-organization decisions, standards, risks and issues.
· Ability to understand, explain and present complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in a persuasive and convincing manner.
· Ability to capture business requirements at a detailed level that can be used to create function requirements with complete traceability.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / business Administration or related discipline.
· Comprehensive expertise in the software development process.
HIGHLY DESIRED:
· Experience or understanding of multiple programming languages, systems, as well as systems design and project management methodologies.
