Job Description:
- Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of complex electrical problems.
- Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers.
- Generate specifications and schematics for AC module designs for new and current Semiconductor Equipment's.
- Specify and review engineering documentation.
- Test and qualification of prototype electrical/AC designs in a lab environment.
- Interface with internal and external customers regarding electrical issues for specific project.
- Specify, supervise the development of, design, or modify engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics, and/or detailed drawings/specifications of complex scope.
Job Specific Knowledge:
Knowledge necessary to perform job includes: thorough knowledge of electrical engineering design, troubleshooting to component level, AC Distribution design methodology, and electrical safety code proficiency; power controls knowledge; general knowledge of mechanical and software engineering disciplines; Hands-on working knowledge of electrical CAD tools (E3s, AUTOCAD and UG NX),thorough understanding and utilization of engineering documentation; understanding of product and business requirements; supervision for mechanical designs of electrical packaging; and general knowledge of appropriate materials, components and technologies used in the semiconductor equipment industry.

Preferred previous work experience includes electrical/electronic engineering experience in a development or manufacturing environment.
Education:
Knowledge and skills typically acquired by a completed BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent knowledge) and 8 years directly related experience; MS in Electrical Engineering (or related technical discipline or equivalent knowledge) and 5 years directly related experience preferred.
