Requirement 1:
Role Title : Business Analyst
Location : Bloomington, IL
Duration : 19 Months
Responsibilities
Insurance Claims –
The new ECS has a backlog of reports that are required to be completed.
The business analyst will provide critical business intelligence to ensure the reports meet the business needs.
BA must be able to understand business needs of Claims Automation and Procedures customers and translating those needs to formal requirements.
BA is expected to have fair understanding of Claims workflows.
What technical skills are needed?
State Farm desktop technology - hardware/software
Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Familiar with Reporting tool (Business Objects or Cognos)
Must be able to understand business needs of Claims Automation and Procedures customers and translating those needs to formal requirements.
Must be proficient with process of collecting and documenting requirements
Must be proficient in creating Report mockups and preparing list of data elements
What data knowledge is needed?
Claims data, which will be used to create the reports
Manager is looking for a Documentation specialist with requirement modeler skills and knowledge of Business Objects
The business analyst will provide critical business intelligence to ensure the reports meet the business needs.
1) Strong BI analytical skills.
2) Knowledge on BI reporting tool (Business Objects and Cognos).
3) Good SQL knowledge as in BI analytical team, it is expected to log on to several database layers for querying the data and data model coordination.
4) Knowledge to insurance is value added.
5) Hands on experience in client coordination, requirement gathering, Mockup designing and meta data management.

Requirement 2:
Role Title : Business Analyst

Responsibilities
Require ITIL Lifecycle knowledge and applicable experience.
Ability to set business process direction and technology direction relative to Service Management
Need specific experience in:
- Service Strategy and Service Design strategic direction setting and approaches for maturing those specific phases of the lifecycle.
- Service Strategy and Service Design process development and application.
- Service Catalog process knowledge and experience in Service Catalog implementations.
- Experience in guiding organizations through the steps needed to implement and populate a service catalog.
- Knowledge of workflow automation relative to request-for-service automation.
- Service Design experience and Service Design package development experience.
- Service Level Management experience.
- Experience working in a large corporate environment.
This project is selecting and implementing a Service Catalog solution to include business services, request able services, and technical services.
Requirement 3:
Role Title : Business Analyst

Duration : 8 Months

Event Solutions Coordinator:
· The Coordinator acts as a liaison between Projects and Service Support Areas.
· The Coordinator is responsible for getting other resources involved for Event Management Project deliverables, activities, for a successful transition into the ITSS Command Center environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to Projects and Service Areas on Event Management Processes, Procedures, Standards, etc.
· Work as a liaison between Projects, DCs, Event Management and Service Areas for defining requirements to delivering a monitoring solution
· Accountable to Project Manager and Service Request Owner for coordinating the monitoring set-up and delivery to Support Areas as defined by the Event Management Process
· Meet with Business Partners and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify business/functional/ technical requirements and work with Event Analyst to set direction to build robust event monitoring and management of Services
· Participate in project kick-off meetings to provide valid input on event monitoring
· Engage Event Management Analyst, Developer and related service team based on Eventing needs for Projects/Service activities and efforts
· Create Event Management Decision Document and Transition Document with support from Project/Service SMEs, Event Management Analyst and Developer
· Provide weekly status and schedule updates to Leadership on Event Monitoring and Management activities
· Work with appropriate ITSS and service teams to ensure smooth Transition of the monitoring solution to Service Area
· Assure Proper Knowledge Items (KI) are created and published
· Engage Technical Environment monitoring team when appropriate
· Follow up with post-implementation validation to ensure that the Monitoring solution is correctly implemented and meets the needs and expectations of the requesting SME
Ensure that the monitoring being requested aligns correctly with the service ORA Tier For Premium Tier services, work with SLL and Event Analysts to:
· Assure Solution design artifacts are available (Logical Application Distribution Diagram, Consolidated Design Document, Availability Plan)
· Assure application is registered its business service in the Service Catalog
· Assure comprehensive Configuration Data is populated and modeled in the CMDB
· Component Failure Impact Analysis (CFIA) and Eventing Design are captured and updated in the Availability Plan
· Performance monitored is established
· End User and Synthetic monitoring is established
Assure correlation Rules are created periodically (6/9/12 months) evaluate monitoring results to ensure Continual Service Improvement (CSI) effectiveness; Service Ops EC
Core Skill-sets: Some of the Core Skill sets of an Event Coordinator includes knowledge of: Implementation Process (both existing and TE)
