Healthcare consulting vertical experience. - Accenture, Slalom, PWC, KPMG, Cerner, etc.

 

Overview:

The SQL Server Report Writer and Developer will need to be focused on SQL Server report development in previous positions as they will serve as a SQL Report Development Specialist. Familiarity with healthcare claims data is preferred but communication skills for this role are crucial.

 

Responsibilities:

•             Develop custom business reports – serves as a "heavy" SQL report development specialist

•             Build and design data access objects (stored procedures, universes, SQL statements) for reporting

•             Build moderate to complex query capabilities, compiling data from multiple sources or formats, including Excel

•             Build tests for data integrity to ensure intelligence is consistent with business needs

Requirements:

•             4+ years of relevant experience and a BA/BS degree

•             Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 required

•             Familiarity with health care claims data

•             Good communication skills – to understand business needs

•             Must be able to write advanced SQL queries

•             Advanced Excel skills

•             Detailed understanding of generally accepted business intelligence methodologies, tools, and techniques
