Position: Data Analyst with IBM MDM / MDM Analyst

Location: Basking Ridge, NJ

Duration: 6+ months

 

Responsibilities 

-4+ years of experience in data analysis or data profiling/mapping

-Experience implementing hybrid of IBM MDM (physical/virtual)

-Understanding Data Management and big Data (Hadoop, Talend)

-Hands on experience writing SQL queries to help the ETL team

-Experience assisting in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners

-Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Plusses:

-Experience with MDM and big data

-Experience with DB2, data profiling, and SQL

D2D:

MDM system analysts to support their IBM MDM database for one of our largest healthcare clients.  This candidate will be responsible for ensuring master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to the data quality. They will need to identify areas for data quality improvements and help resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies. This candidate will also develop and implement strategies to translate business requirements and models into feasible and acceptable data warehouse designs to ensure that business needs are met. He/She will act as the liaison between the business and development side of things. They will be translating business requirements into technical specifications.
