Role : Senior Test Engineer/ Lead

Location : San Jose, CA

Duration: 6+ months

 

Skills Required: Storage Validation, Server Validation, VMware ESX / Linux KVM Testing and Storage Hardware Testing

 

Job Description:

Servers & Storage Validation

Ability to run tests based on the test plan.

Understanding of Storage concepts and familiarity with the BMC firmware, BIOS testing. 

Expertise in testing of virtualization software particularly VMware ESX  and Linux KVM.

Provision the storage and test the hardware platforms. Qualify the storage software against various HW components

Run various servers/storage Test scenarios

Validate Serviceability feature support

Data Integrity tests and run I/O performance tests run Reliability tests.

Document and create precise reports of the executed tests.

Highly methodical in bug reporting / reproduction.

Knowledge of Linux bash/shell script and capability of composing automation test script in python.

High speed test/debug experience (PCIe, 10G, SAS, SATA, USB) is a plus

Need very high familiarity with Linux with good understanding of Linux internals
