UI/UX Designer required in CA

POSITION

UI/ UX Designer

San Diego, CA

6+months

 

·         Proven UI experience

·         Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio

·         Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps

·         Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools

·         Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.

·         Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction​

·         Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.

·         Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

·         Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies

·         BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related

·         Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

•        Solid understanding of UX and UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usability.

•        Solid markup skills utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.

•        Practical exposure and/or experience with angularJS (1year), CoffeeScript(six months), jQuery(1year), LESS, JSON, AJAX , NodeJS(six months)

·         Styling: CSS, LESS (named styles/rules with meta langs)

·         Data binding: AngularJS

·         Templates : Jade

•        Strong written and oral communication skills.

•        Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and an Agile, Java development, team-oriented environment that the team, but not this person, is doing Java, JavaEE, Spring, using REST. You will be doing interface design, UI web development with: HTML 5, CSS 3, LESS, JavaScript technologies such as AngularJS, CoffeeScript and jQuery.
