Job Description :
The Onsite Operations Manager/Lead should be technically very strong and have prior experience of handling, managing and working with medium to large sized teams (geographically collocated). He/She should be
• Responsible for providing leadership, motivation, and technical direction to the Shift Leads/Technical associates to improve and continue providing outstanding customer service.
• Manages the daily operational activities of Residential Email platform running on Open Source email platform.
• Has prior working knowledge on Cent OS Linux, Mail Proxies, and Software based Load Balancers, Different Alerting and Monitoring tools, overseeing Infrastructure based instances such as VMWare, ESXi, and Storage etc.
• Knowledge and previous experience of handling Cloud based hosted email platform on Open Source Platform (ex: - Open Exchange /Dovecot)
• Any prior knowledge on application-based storage such as Scality will be an added advantage
• Experience of handling Incident Management & Problem Management and directing technical associates during Change Management. Having taken Incident Manager roles & responsibilities would be an added advantage.
• Translates approved objectives into work plans and procedures. Enforces improved operational policies and recommends adjustments to operational metrics based on situation
• Appraises job performance, implements team discipline, sets work schedules, monitors performance, builds teamwork, target oriented and highly customer focused to meets operational goals
