Oracle PL/SQL Developer with 8+ years of exp
Location: San Mateo, CA
Duration: 9+ months
Required Skills:
• 8+ years in PL/SQL and 5+ years of advanced computer programming skills in PL/SQL.
• Advance working skills in programming with ANSI SQL for Oracle Database.
• Able to coordinate the creation Technical Requirement Documents (TRD), Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), Requirement Traceability Metric (RTM)
• Must have experience with relational database theory and data modeling and should be experienced with Oracle.
• Must have a solid knowledge of database internals, data structures, and tuning strategies.
• Experience in working with large amounts of data, solid working experience with large transactions.
• Experience in tuning database packages, stored procedures as part of fine-tuning the application.
• Knowledge of Unix Operating System and Utilities
• Able to provide debugging and code analysis support
• Able to support implementation of application software releases and other related activities
• Able to perform knowledge transfer and walkthrough
• Able to troubleshoot production problems
Preferred Skills:
• Able to perform the complete system life cycle using the Agile Scrum Methodology phases from project initiation, analysis and requirements, design, coding, testing and implementation
• Able to adhere to client development standards and SOX compliance
• Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical
• Proven ability to develop and maintain system documentation
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
