Oracle DBA
Auburn Hills,MI

Must have skills:
Primary ORA DBA: L3

o   Seasoned Oracle DBA with SQL DBA knowledge L1, L2.

o   24x7 Production Support Oracle DB 10/11g on Aix/HP-UX & Sun Solaris & MS SQL Servers on Windows

o   ORACLE RAC ( Real Application Clusters) knowledge

o   DB Backup/Recovery RMAN and SQL Backtrack  

o   Software Installs/Upgrades/Quarterly Patching/Install Oracle Enterprise manager 10g and 12c

o   Non-D Database Activity/ Scripts/Automation/Audit Reports

o   Trouble shooting database performance issue using AWR report and OEM.

o   Work with Oracle/BMC/Vendors support

o   DR Testing.

o   Greater flexibility in working hours with Proactive & Team work attitude

o   Ability to think out of shell and provide ideas/innovation

o   Good in time and Prioritization & Task management

 Secondary SQL DBA : L2/L1

·         SQL Server 2005/ 2008 R2/2012

·         Understanding of Clustering / GEO Clustering technologies & Windows server operating system & Related infrastructure

·         Tools and services in support of SQL Server databases such as SANs, backup methodologies, database administration, and business continuity.

·         Troubleshoot SQL Server service issues, Monitor the alerts, Disk space usage, Error log(s), db log space, user activity/ security violations.

·         Strong SQL Server database performance analysis and tuning skills including tracing and profiling, server configuration changes, or index/query changes.

            ·         Performance issues, determine the most effective way to increase performance including hardware purchases
