We have opening for DB2 DBA position at Raleigh, NC — Longterm contract Position

 

Title: DB2 DBA

Location : Raleigh, NC

Duration: Longterm contract

Rate: $45/hr on CTC

 

Job Description:

Looking for minimum 5+ years experience.

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years hands-on experience installing, configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting databases in DB2.

• Prefer experience installing, configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting databases such as Oracle, SQL Server and mainframe.

• Ability to use software tools, languages, scripts and shells required for effective support of the database enterprise.

• Ability to work independently on technical functions associated with creating and maintaining databases in one or more computing environments (e.g. AIX/Solaris Unix and/or Windows OS). 

• Full knowledge of SQL including programming and ways to optimize SQL code
