Position: Java Developer
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Duration: 12+ months
Need Local For F2F Interview
Must have: ACA or benefits, Java, Restful Web Services, JSON
Job: legacy HRB system, working on ACA new functionality.
Small team of developers and DBA's that are working within the legacy system for client benefits specific to the ACA (Affordable Care Act).
The client is seeking a tenured Java developer with experience with in large systems that old large amounts of data.
They are currently working towards development and integrating their data for a large volume increase of ACA clients come January
This is a long-term contract (up to 2 years) developing and supporting this system.
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications/operating systems. Also, coordinates work teams.
Provides technical support to project team members.
Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
May report to an executive or a manager.
OO language experience with minimum of 5 years of hands on Java
Object oriented analysis and design --- 5 years
Years internet application development ----3 years SQL --- 2years
Web protocols and languages HTTP, XML, and HTML—2 years
Hands on experience with major web servers, application servers or transaction processes---2 years (Restful and JSON)
Ability to provide quality products
Knowledge of agile or working with scrum teams
Benefits domain or ACA experience- plus
