Position: VMware Admin

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite at Client)

Job Status: Contract 

Mode of interview: Telephonic/F2F and Skype only (if candidate is not within below states)

Exp: 8+ yrs

Resource should be in TRI-STATE AREA ( PA, NJ, NY, CT) only

Job Description: 

Primary:

·     . Solid understanding of and experience with:

-          compute infrastructure design, deployment and management

-          Virtualization solutions(VMware and Hyper-V)

-          Windows host environments and related technologies

-          Citrix solutions

-          Application Virtualization

·         . Strong analytical and problem solving skills

·         . Strong communication skills both written and verbal

·        . Required Certifications: IT Infrastructure Library(ITIL Foundations   v3)

 

Secondary:

·        . Knowledge of and experience with VMware and Hyper-V best practices

·         . Experience with Linux host environments where applicable

·         . Relevant Certifications: ITIL Intermediate v3-Service Transition, IT   Planning             Protection and optimization, Service Operation, Operational   Support and             Analysis, Microsoft Certified Solution Expert(MSCE   Server, MCSE                     Messaging),

·         . VMware Certified Professional(VCP), CompTIA  Server+, CompTIA Storage+           Powered by SNIA,EMC Storage Administrator(EMCSA),EMC Storage                 Implementation Engineer(EMCIE),HP ASE Storage Solution Architect, Cisco         Certified Network Professional-Data Center(CCNP-Data Center)
