Direct Client- looking for Application Programmer(financial industry must) in NY- Advent Geneva experience MUST

Urgent Direct Client requirement in New York, NY.

 Experience & Skills Required

 

·         Bachelor Degree required preferably in Computer Science. Advanced degree a plus but not required.

·         4 -5  years programming experience required.

·         1 -2  years of experience in financial industry required. Accounting background will be a plus.

·         Solaris, Linux,  Shell Scripting

·         Java / JDBC

·         Microsoft SQL Server / Data Warehousing

·         Crystal Reports or any other reporting package experience preferred

·         Experience in Portfolio Accounting System preferred but not required. Experience in Advent Geneva is a definite plus.

·         Candidates should also have excellent verbal and written communications skills and good attention to detail.
