Position Overview
For CMS developers who would like to hack with us, We are looking for an Adobe AEM/CQ CMS Architect who has recent digital consumer experience with the Adobe AEM/CQ product suite, including CQ, CRX, CQ WCM, DAM and Social Collaboration. The candidate should be a strong Java developer capable of creating technical designs and architecture, as well as expertise in setting up and configuring Adobe AEM/CQ.
Candidates must have IT consulting experience, be familiar with a team approach to execution, and possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for content and collaboration solutions
- Translate client requirements into technical designs and architecture
- Design and implement customer engagement strategies to support multi-site, multi-channel, multi-lingual delivery environments
- Develop digital consumer experiences based on the foundational Adobe AEM/CQ product suite, including CQ, CRX/CRXDE, CQ WCM, DAM and Social Collaboration
- Design and implement components for the Adobe CQ platform
- Build solutions on top of the Adobe WCM, DAM and Social Collaboration modules
- Create and integrate content-driven applications on top of the Adobe CQ core platform
- Define implementation processes, quality gates and standards
- Define best practices to manage performance and scalability of the content management and content delivery solution
- Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management implementation
- Adopt and utilize iterative/Agile methodology as needed or requested
- Lead the technical team in the installation, configuration and implementation of the designed Adobe AEM/CQ product suite solution
- Experience with running teams and partnering with their PM counterparts
Required Experience / Skills
- 8+ years' experience implementing solutions with one or more web content management systems
- 3+ years' experience implementing solutions using Adobe CQ 5.5+
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or engineering
- Strong analytical, problem solving and production diagnostic skills
- Extensive knowledge of the Adobe CQ 5.5/5.6 +technology stack and OSGi architecture and specifications
- Experience with at least 2 – 3 AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) implementation including experience in installing the product, setting up author publish and dispatcher configurations and developing and deploying applications like sothebys.com on AEM platform
- Strong experience in architecting and executing applications built on open source java based platforms/frameworks like Spring MVC, SOLR
- Understanding the link between business needs and application technology
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies and libraries including JQuery, ExtJS and JSON
- Able to conceptualize and design workflows in CMS
- Coordinate team to ensure they are operating in an efficient, sustainable manner in developing CQ templates, components, services, etc.
- Participate in project design, development and deployment implementation using CQ
- Experience in implementing, enhancing and troubleshooting AEM/CQ 5.5+ installations
- Knowledge of CMS platform configuration and optimization (e.g., Tar Optimization)
- Knowledge of basic administration tasks such as creating and deploying packages, data store garbage collector, etc.
- Mastery of all core web technologies including XML, XHTML, client server-side scripting languages such as JavaScript and JSP, and web services development using RESTful implementations
- Relevant experience in SQL, Java JSP, XML, HTML, MVC, Struts, JSF, REST, SOAP, XML/RPC, JBoss, Tomcat, CSS, Java Servlets, JEE and JavaScript
- Deep understanding of Java, JEE, servlets, JSP, tag libraries and JSTL skills, combined with a strong understanding of enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
- Proficient in AEM/CQ 5.5+ foundational concepts, including the CRX repository, the CQ platform and the use of core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix
- A solid understanding of all AEM/CQ 5.5+ building blocks, including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., and the CQ development and deployment process
- Experience setting up CQ5/AEM projects using Maven and standard eclipse tools
- Experience in CQ5 and LDAP integration
Nice to Have
· Experience integrating Adobe Search and Promote and SiteCatalyst web analytics tool with CQ5
· Knowledge of AEM eCommerce with Hybris
· Understanding and working knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5
