VERY URGENT NEED: DevOps Engineer - Beaverton, OR

Our client, located in the Beaverton, OR, is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer resource to join their organization. Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Beaverton, OR
Long Term Contract

 

Description:
Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent although Chef is preferred
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required)
Experience with SQL and MySQL is a plus
A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby)
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
Strong leadership and excellent communication skills is a must
