Title: BIG DATA ENGINEER

Job Description
The successful candidate must be able to envision and build organizational structure, methods and processes to scale for growth. He or she must be able to provide guidance and leadership for the management team to deliver on organization and infrastructure goals.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of Java programming
Strong java development skills and experience in building highly scalable applications in java or other jvm languages Extensive experience with multithreaded and event-driven programming Experience with performance tuning of java applications and trade offs Experience with High Availability applications Hands on experience in working with Hadoop and Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Hbase, YARN, MapReduce, Spark, Kafka, Flume, etc.
MUST have hands on experience in working with Lucene-based search engines such as Solr Cloud or ElasticSearch Practical working knowledge of Linux or Unix based systems Skills & Requirements
Highly desirable:
Experience with big data analytics
Experience with administration, configuration management, monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning Big Data applications Knowledge of Graph databases Knowledge of NLP & Machine Learning technologies/techniques
