TITLE: QA HP ALM Consultant
LOCATION: SACRAMENTO, CA
DURATION: 9 Months

PROJECT OVERVIEW:
CalPERS, Information Technology Performance & Accountability Division (IPAD) has requested assistance from Vendors to provide consulting services to assist the Enterprise Test Office (ETO) team with enhancing the inventory of test scripts which includes manual and automated scripts. This engagement is to clean-up existing scripts creating a more robust test script inventory. This contract will be a collaborative effort with the ETO Test team to expand and improve both the manual system test scripts and automated regression test scripts.
QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST
Script Inventory
The candidate will be responsible for assisting CalPERS with an effort to clean up automated and manual test scripts maintained by the ETO. It is estimated to take an average of 2 hours per script to perform the script clean-up. CalPERS will perform a review on a weekly basis of scripts submitted for acceptance. Acceptance meaning the vendor has completed all the defined cleanup work and script now complies with all the defined standards.
Script Cleanup
The candidate will assist in enhancing 1500+ test scripts with known deficiencies. Tasks will include:
· Updating scripts in accordance with CalPERS test script standards
· Standardizing SQL statements used to identify script data
· Requirement tracing (link scripts to requirements in ALM Requirements module)
· Adding descriptive metadata by populating newly added attributes
Project Expectations
The candidate will be required to fulfill the following project expectations:
· The vendor will be responsible to provide regular reporting of progress in the form of weekly status reports
· Contract expires on December 31, 2015, but work is expected to complete prior to that date
· The vendor will work as part of a team
· Only scripts "Accepted" by CalPERS can be submitted for payment
· Vendor is responsible for rework of any scripts not accepted by CalPERS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3 or more years of expertise with HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
· 3 or more years of experience developing test scripts
· Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Must have experience writing SQL for test script data harvesting
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge of CalPERS lines of business
· Previous experience with the my|CalPERS application
