Cisco Network Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Required Skills:

·         5+ years' experience in network engineering duties

·         Advanced knowledge in LAN, WAN and Cisco ACE Load balancing

·         Advanced knowledge of hardware, network operating systems and troubleshooting skills

·         Ability to analyze network design, architecture, protocols, topology, configuration and provisioning platforms

·         Proficient knowledge of support systems for network management and element management systems

·         Strong practical working experience with routing and switching technologies (2921, 3900 series routers, 7200 routers, 3750 switches, 3850 / 3750 switches, 6500 switches, Nexus 7000 / 5000 series switches, Catalyst 4500 switches)

·         Familiarity with implementing firewall rules

·         Working experience with Cisco ASA, Juniper, or Stonesoft Firewalls is preferred

·         Hands on experience with Cisco Wireless Access points, Cisco wireless controllers, point to point access bridges and related technologies•

·         Proficient knowledge of protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS and BGP

·         Good communication skills

 

Education / Certification Experience:

·         Cisco Certification in CCNA / CCNP  a plus
