Position: QA Tester with Media/Video/Cable/Satellite TV industry exp

Location: El Segundo, CA

Duration: 3-6 months (extension possible)

Rate: $50/hr

 

Experience:  Manual and Test Automation with 3-6 years' experience preferably in Media/Video/Cable/Satellite TV industry

 

Skills :

Good Knowledge on testing concepts, should have worked on both System testing and Component level testing along with experience in test case automation (open source / Proprietary tools) Candidate should have good knowledge on SQL queries (Oracle / MySQL),  Web Service testing (REST, SOAP) using  tools like SOAP / Advance Rest Client

Candidate should have good knowledge working on Linux environment

Media Domain knowledge with understanding of Live Streaming , Video on Demand, Adaptive Streaming (HLS / MPEG Dash), CDN (Content Delivery Network) , DRM (Digital Right Management) and basic undertaking of various video codes like H.264/MPEG

Preferable knowledge on Big data testing (Hadoop, Hive / Pig) along with experience in scripting languages like Shell / Perl
