Senior Business Analyst

Lansing, MI

3-4 years contract

Rate : Open (send with best rate!)

 

Client wants someone who knows eCAMS/MMIS (Please don't send any resumes without strong experience in eCAMS/MMIS!)

 

Job Duties:

• Act as a liaison between IT and the Business teams and develop a strong relationship / partnership with the business and IT.
• Maintains and assists in the development of moderately complex business solutions
• Develops and maintains various project artifacts including but not limited to: Business Requirements Document, Functional Specification Documents, Business Process Flows, User Test Cases, etc.
• Ensuring that all SDLC processes are followed by the development team.
• Supports the implementation of technical data solutions and standards.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst.
• Bachelor's degree in business or technical area, or suitable work experience.
• Great coordination and negotiation skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, proficiency with Power Point, Word and other Microsoft Office Applications required.
• Needs to work with customers, the business and technology teams to identify, assess, define, document, and negotiate for the "best" product features and functionality   
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think logically and document own ideas and those of others
• Ability to comfortably meet with (both face-to-face and via phone/web-conference) interview and support internal and external customers.
• Experience with and knowledge of relational and multi-dimensional databases (Oracle, SQL Server), statistical analysis and business intelligence (BI) tools
