Position:  Pentaho reporting OLAP designer

Location:  Philadelphia, PA

Duration:  6 months (Extension possible)

 

JD

·         Should have hands on working experience in Pentaho Report Designer.

·         Support with Pentaho Report Migration and upgrade activities from legacy system

·         Provide basic administration support as required for migration and upgrade include

·         Pentaho Report configuration and setup

·         Pentaho Report Server setup

·         Connectivity and user setup

·         Scheduling

·         Setup source and secure metadata folder.

·         Ability build repositories

·         Administer repositories and move Metadata

·         Provide solutions (including design and development) around Pentaho OLAP Reporting including one or more the following

·         Pentaho Analysis Enterprise Edition

·         Pentaho Analyzer visualization tool

·         Analyzer Reports

·         Use Analysis Cubes in Report Designer

·         MDX Query

·         Pentaho Aggregation Designer

·         OLAP Data SourceProvide the right analytics solution using Pentaho Report Designer

·         Facilitate users on analysis through dashboards built using Visual analytics

·         Support decision making using Real time Develop Custom Solutions

·         Decide on the right Optimize Multidimensional Data Models s to be used, if any as the right fit solution through experience on multiple data model knowledge.

·         Provide billable consulting support to achieve account objectives and production success.

·         Perform application development, technical product assistance and tuning to meet customer performance and functional requirements

·         Contribute to knowledge capital via project documentation and best practice solutions

·         Lead and Mentor off shore team

·         Maintain and grow knowledge of BI functionality and technical skills

·         At least 5+years' experience in core Business Intelligence (BI)/data warehousing technology, Windows and UNIX Operating System from a service perspective with Pentaho reporting OLAP designer including Pentaho Analyzer visualization tool, Analyzer Reports and Analytics

·         Knowledge of any one database and good knowledge of SQL
