Position: JAVA J2EE DEVELOPER
Location: SANJOSE, CA
Duration: 3+ Months (3 to 6 Months)
Experience: 5-8 YEARS
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Java-J2EE (Mandatory) you are responsible for managing a small team of analysts, developers, testers or engineers and drive delivery of a small module within a project (Delivery/Maintenence/Testing)
You may serve as entry level specialist with expertise in particular technology/industry domain/a process / application / product.
You are responsible for functional/technical track of a project.
Minimum work experience: 5 - 8 Years
· Roles and Responsibilities: Takes ownership of technical stories and delivering them through the full SDLC Participate in the Agile/SCRUM process and collaborate with development and production team throughout all stages of the SDLC
· Works across functional teams to develop system/unit functional specifications Develops tools or processes as appropriate to improve productivity
· Minimum Qualifications MS in computer science or BS plus 5 years related experience Self-motivated and highly ambitious Creative problem solving skills and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Understanding of software engineering skills and QA/Test and automation methodologies
· Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
· Excellent team player Desired Skills Expertise in building large-scale distributed systems using technologies such as Java/JEE, Spring Framework, REST, Hibernate Strong DB/SQL skills Excellent database development skills including a solid understanding of database technologies, and logical and physical data modeling Good understanding of Web technologies like (Bootstrap, AngularJS, NodeJS, etc.)
· Understanding of Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Hbase, Spark, NoSQL) is a big plus Experience using technical documents such as business requirements, functional requirements, database design representations, data and systems flow diagrams
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Java-J2EE:
· Should be able to architect a solution in this technology area fora given problem statement. In depth knowledge of mutli tire architecture.
· Should be able to design and architect solution around J2EE, should be well versed with stacking and layering of architecture modeling, should be conversent with decision making in terms of technology comparison with J2EEtechnologies
· Should be able to understand customer business requirements and propose optimal solutions around J2EE technologies focusing on simplifications, virtualization, aggregation and automation.
Java Transaction Management:
· JTA: Should be aware of fundamentals on JTA, Bean managed and Container managed user transactions, Transaction manager, XA resource, JTS – transaction manager, interface & exceptions.
· Good knowledge of X/Open XA Architecture, JTAImplementation of the X/Open XA architecture, Java Transaction APIs, User Transaction Support in EJB server, User Transaction support in JNDI, J2SE.
· Should understand unit testing (and able to execute unit test cases.
Messaging and Interfacing:
· Programmer: Should be able to write programs independently.
· Should be having good knowledge in one or more of Messaging and Interfacing technologies like Java Mail, JCA, JMS, JNI etc. and able debug and solve applications. Understanding Data request and response queue.
· Should be able to implement application handling synchronous and asynchronous request and response.
· JMS: Able to implement applications for communicating between J2EE servers.
· Should know how to write and execute unit test cases
Web Services:
· Tech. Lead: Should be able to Design and Architect Web Services, Interoperability between J2EE and .Net.
· Should be able to Design and Architects complying with WS-I standards
