Network Engineer - Scripting

 

We have an immediate contract opportunity with a large F500 client in the San Jose, CA area.

 

You will be part of the Customer Solution Center team.  You will be responsible for building mockups, prototypes of partial applications to demonstrate or implement potential customer applications of network products.

 

Responsibilities & Tasks

•Work with the Customer Solutions team to define and design customer mock ups and demonstrations for shows to highlight new product offerings.

•Set up the lab, network, and routers as needed.

•Prototype features and functionality using scripting.

 

Core Competences:

•Comfortable in a network lab environment.

•Experienced with IP and router configuration.

•Experienced with Linux.

•Strong scripting experience with Python or Java.

•Ability to work in a fast work environment independently.

 

Core Competences:

•Web development experience.

 

Desired:

•Cloud or Open Daylight experience.

•Knowledge or understanding of SDN.

•Open Stack
