Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8 years of overall software QA experience
At least 3+ yrs. of experience with agile/scrum methodology preferably using the SAFe principles.
Experience in using agile/scrum based management tools like Rally, VersionOne, JIRA/Green hopper, HP ALM
Proven experience driving the software testing process utilizing in-depth knowledge of state of art SQA methodology, tools and software development life cycles.
Geek factor, able to speak XML, HTML, comfortable with API, web services, knowledge of how the platforms that comprise a SaaS are put together. (PLUS)
Experience with SQL and related RDMS concepts with ability to understand data models.
Knowledge and experience with multi-tiered systems, including working knowledge of web/application servers.
3+ yrs of experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable, end to end automated testing. (Preferably using HP QTP/UFT)
Responsibilities:
Create software test assets based on user and technical stories of the delivery team
Design, develop and maintain automated tests
Identify and manage defects through a successful resolution
Analyze test results to verify functionality and recommend corrective action in the case of failure
Document test process as applicable
Own feature/product area and account for E2E testing process.
Collaborate with test lead(s), application development and business teams to define and establish a test plan for a given program increment
Guide and mentor other SQA team members.
Collaborate with the operations and development staff on integrating the test infrastructure into the build and deployment infrastructure.
Work directly and communicate proactively with local and global [India] QA team members
Maintain test environments, test data, and support bug tracking as defined by the QMO process
