Position: Linux System Admin

Location: Berkeley CA

Duration: 6+ Month

 

Top Skills Needed:

1.       Linux OS

2.       LAMP

3.       Working knowledge of VMware 

 

Required Skills:

 

• Proficiency with GNU/Linux OS, specifically with Ubuntu and RedHat variants. 
• Proficiency with server side configuration with LAMP (Linux-Apache-MySQL-Php) and related software stack.
• Proficiency in implementing and maintaining automated deployment tools (Puppet/Chef), server security, file/disk management techniques in Linux environment.
• Proficiency with Unix command line tools and shell scripting with Bash or similar. 
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl or Python or Ruby. 
• Working Knowledge of VMware, server virtualization and VPS infrastructure. 
• Nice to have experience: LDAP, Active Directory, SSL, VMware VDI
