Position: Java with Hadoop

Location: Kansas City, MO

Duration: 6+Months

 

Description:

·         Core Java with Services Development experience and Hadoop - HBase                                               

·         Hadoop; HBase; Web Services

 

The Software Engineer is assigned to a specific software solution and is responsible for writing code to meet user interface specifications.

Responsibilities also include defining user needs, providing input to functional design, testing and troubleshooting.

·         Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science related field or equivalent experience

·         Possess decision making skills as well as the ability to deal with ambiguity

·         Strong analytic and problem solving abilities

·         Demonstrates the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work to meet adapting deadlines

·         Attention to detail

·         Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed
