Work Description:
The qualified resource will participate in an assessment of the current configuration of the environment for both agencies and work with existing staff to develop a long term Operational support activities for the Oracle SOA systems/solutions.
The effort includes an assessment of solutions/services, a definition of support requirements and the creation of a technology roadmap to include an enterprise service registry.
Efforts may include system configuration and implementation oversight/support as well as Service development (to include monitoring/maintenance of the SOA service).
The person selected for this position will play a vital role in the strategic and operational direction pursued by both OHA and DHS through expert technical consultation and guidance in the selection, design and implementation of complex enterprise solutions.
Skills/Experience
· An Oracle Service Oriented Architecture management services SME with experience in SOA at an enterprise level. The qualified resource will have experience in system
· design/planning and hardware/software configuration on Oracle SOA systems/solutions.
· Candidates with an Oracle SOA systems/solution certification are desired. Additional
· experience can be substituted in lieu of certification.
· The desired candidate will have experience performing operations and maintenance
· activities such as:
· Core Service Components – BPEL process components, Mediator components, Business
· Rule components, Human Task components, BPMN service components, Adapter services
· Oracle SOA Suite & related Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) – Oracle SOA Suite 11g
· architecture, service bus, governance solution, WebLogic server domain for SOA, Oracle
· SOA Suite 11g management
· Service Design – XML, XSD and WSDL, WSDL service interfaces, XML Schema (XSD)
· message structure, service design/access/implementation
· SCA Composite Applications and Service Components – Service Component Architecture
· (SCA), SCA Components, SCA Composites, SCA Bindings, SCA Policy Framework
· Adapter technology – Binding components, adapter services, Oracle technology adapters
· Service Data Objects (SDO) – SDO data architecture, SCA and SDO
· JDeveloper SOA implementation – SOA composite editor, SOA components, exposed
· services, external references, wiring components, JDeveloper workspace/projects/filestrucure
· BPEL Process Components/Orchestrating Services – BPEL concepts/process features,
· basic BPEL process programming constructs, message data using variables, BPELProcess Designer
· Mediating Messages with Mediator Components – Features of a mediator component,
· Mediator component use patterns, configuring mediator components with routing rules
· Encapsulating Business Logic with Business Rules Components - Defining Business Rules,
· Using Business Rules service components in SOA Composites, Editing Business Rules using SOA Composer
· Creating Business Driven Processes with BPMN – Business Process and Business Process
· Modeling Notation (BPMN), Oracle BPM Suite, Modeling and editing BPM processes
· Managing and Monitoring Composite Applications – SOA composite application
· management, Deploying SOA application, Monitoring composite instances, exception handling
· Enterprise Integration using Oracle Service Bus – Creating and configuring services in Oracle Service Bus
· Exploring SOA Governance – Managing shared assets using FMW products
